Blowing Agents

Blowing Agents (Foaming Agents) include liquids, gases, or solid chemicals which are used to cause gas pockets within the structure of a plastic material. Foam is produced by gas expansion as the molten plastic is returned to atmospheric pressure.

Liquids or solids that turn to gas under heat and pressure are refered to as "Chemical Blowing Agents".

Pressurized gases, such as the products supplied by Diversified CPC International are referred to as "Physical Blowing Agents".

Diversified CPC International welcomes inquiries from prospective users of "Physical Foam (Blowing) Agents".
