Household and Commercial Products Association Appoints John Dowd to their Board of Directors

Diversified CPC International (DCPC) Vice President of Marketing John Dowd has been appointed to the Household and Commercial Products Association (HCPA) Board of Directors. Mr. Dowd was one of six new members appointed to the thirty-two-member Board. HCPA is the premier trade association representing companies that manufacture and sell $180 billion annually of products used for cleaning, protecting, maintaining, and disinfecting homes and commercial environments.

As DCPC Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, Mr. Dowd works with the company’s leadership team to accelerate growth programs and facilitate expansion into complementary markets. He joined DCPC in 2016 after spending 35-years with the DuPont Company. While at DuPont, Mr. Dowd held several key management roles that spanned business leadership, marketing, brand protection, operations, logistics, and R&D. As Global Marketing and Sales Director, he was responsible for the exceptional growth of several DuPont businesses. He also played a vital role as a program leader on the company’s corporate alliance and innovation team. Mr. Dowd holds a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania.
